TEMPO InteractiveJakarta:Laguna Cipta Griya (LCGP) is planning to issue
additional shares worth Rp366 billion this year. “We will propose it in the shareholders’ meeting on June 18,” said the company’s director Danny Boestami in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Danny said the company’s plan to issue additional shares was based on two considerations. First, the company needs fresh funds as capital in its US$48-million oil and gas endeavor with Blue Sky Langsa Ltd in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD). The remaining numbers will be covered by selling the company’s property assets,” Danny continued. Secondly, the effort was planned to open the way for Blue Sky to become the company’s major shareholder. The additional shares are expected to increase Blue Sky’s share ownership to over 70 percent. “As with an IPO, they [Blue Sky] would only be able to own 51 percent of our shares,” said Danny.
